Follow the Money

Whose interests does the 8th District’s member of Congress represent? While families are hurting financially and falling further behind their counterparts in other parts of Indiana and in other states, the incumbent has provided little help. And instead of trying to improve our health care system, he has tried to roll back the progress we have made during his six years in office.

Whose voices reach the incumbent’s ear? His campaign finance reports provide the answer. Most of the incumbent’s money comes from special interests in Washington, DC, and those are the interests that he represents.

We need a member of Congress who represents the public’s interest on Capitol Hill. That’s what I will do as your representative in DC. I’ll work as hard as I can to make sure that if you work hard and play by the rules, you can provide a good life for your family and a better future for your children.

To win election, I will need your help. Over the coming months, I will ask for your help in many important ways, and I hope you will be able to respond. Currently, I hope you can help us meet our very important fundraising goal for March 31. Whether you give $5 or $500, your support now will do much to help us have a successful campaign.

We can take a check made out to "Orentlicher for Congress" and mailed to P.O. Box 3053, Terre Haute, IN 47803. Online donations can be made by clickinghere. Please contribute by this Thursday. Thank you very much for your consideration.
